Telling stories, one film at a time.

Born December 1987 in South Korea, Sang Woo Kim came to Canada with his family when he was ten years old.  While adapting to a strange new environment he now calls home, Sang spent a majority of his childhood playing with Lego to satisfy his natural urge to create and tell stories.

In his college years, he drifted through various fields of study and finally found his craze in psychology and screenwriting.  Ever since then, he has never been more passionate and determined in his budding career as he graduated Langara College with both Associate of Arts: Psychology and Certificate of Film Arts: Writing (with distinction) in 2014.

With an ambitious dream to share original Canadian content with the world, Sang now works hard to make a name for himself in the Vancouver film industry.  His earlier works as a writer and producer include three student short films: "Love & War", "Ones Left Behind", and "Unlikely Ally". Most recently, he has produced "13 Cellphones" (Winner of Best Sound Design and Best Actress at Phrike Filmfest 2014); "Beyond the Snowy Peaks" (Top Finalist at Olympus 72 Hour Filmmaker Showdown 2015); and "Reapers" (Telus Storyhive Web-Series 2016).

He is currently developing a high-concept 8x1HR sci-fi limited series titled "Blue-8" with veteran producer Henrik Meyer of Red Cedar Films; diving into VR storytelling with director Dallas Harvey from Vancouver FX Studios; and circulating a Taiwanese short film "Story Unbridled" with emerging director Vincent Kuan Lin.
